Description
This circuit implements a high accuracy temperature control amplifier realized with a PI Proportional-Integral controller. The first device is a precision instrumentation amplifiers with very low offset and drift. The PI is realized with an OPA374 6.5Mhz CMOS operational amplifier. The circuit requires an overall feedback path to achieve a steady-state operating point, for example a TEC (Thermo Electric Cooler) controller which can cool down or heat up the temperature of an object depending on the direction of the current going through the TEC. This amplifier allows temperature control loop stability within in a few tens of milli- degrees.
