In this SPICE simulation the compandor is implemented with a log amplifier and an antilog amplifier.The log amplifier compresses the signal that is transmitted over the medium.The antilog amplifier receives the signal and expands it, recovering the original signal. It’s used to contrast the effects of a channel with limited dynamic range.
