DC-AC Converter, Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lighting (CCFL) Power Supply

Description

IC based DC-AC converter with a LT1184F switching regulator, and a Royer oscillator composed of two transistors, a transformer and a biasing network. The transistors FZT849 conduct out of phase, switching each time the transformer saturates. These circuits achieve an efficiency higher than 90%, neglecting the parasitic capacitances of the lamp.
