It seems both Matlab and PSpice use Analog Behavioral Modeling (ABM). I have a co-worker who has developed an ABM model for an integrated circuit in Matlab. And now we would like to translate that into a PSpice ABM. Is there an automated way to do this translation? Thanks.

Hello, I am not aware of a similar tool, but maybe you could mantain the ABM Matlab models using PSpice SLPS, the interface for integrating PSpice with MATLAB/Simulink.

Thanks. I know you can go one way, using PSpice inside MATLAB. But the MATLAB modelling has already been done. And we want to look at the current and voltage waveforms around the circuit in order to optimize component values. I’m not really familiar with the intricacies of the software statements of MATLAB. But maybe it’s possible to translate from one to another, perhaps adding a resistor here or a capacitor here, or a voltage controlled switch there to get from MATLAB to PSpice.

Mikespice , I’ve never heard about a Matlab analog behavioral modelling like the AMB PSPice. Syntax will be completely different, not very easy to translate. Can you upload a simple ABM Matlab example?
