150 – 120 Watt Isolated Forward Converters

Description

Two controllers, the LTC3765 and the LTC3766, create a complete isolated forward power supply. An active clamp for driving an external transistor PMOS, allows us to optimize the efficiency. here two transient SPICE simulation, a 150 Watt with DC input from 18V to 72V and 12V 12.5A output, and a 120 Watt with DC input from 9V to 36V and 12V 10A output.
